Ruby's Story

Ruby Janssen is called the 'Baby Boomer Money Coach'.  She is the CEO and Founder of www.theeboomer.com, the world’s first site dedicated to teaching Baby Boomers around the world how to make money outside a traditional job.  Ruby is leading the entrepreneurial boomer revolution, or the eboomers. The eBoomers are boomers who are embracing their entrepreneur within and taking charge of their financial destinies.

Ruby was a self made millionaire at the age of 26 and she is the author of The Money Tree- How to make money as an Entrepreneurial Boomer (due for release in 2010), published by Morgan James New York.  She has featured in best selling books and magazines including; “How to Achieve Wealth for Life through Property Investing” by Ed Chan and Tony Melvin and “The Australian Property Investor” magazine.

Ruby is on a mission to inspire boomers around the world to grow their own 'money tree' which makes cash for them each and every week, instead of living a reduced life focused on cutting back and budgeting. "Its OK to save money, but its more empowering to focus on making money rather than simply saving your pennies and living a reduced existence."   Ruby has teamed up with the world’s leading experts in making money and she loves being able to bring the latest strategies to her audiences around the world.

“I believe that the most important thing for all boomers around the world to do right now is to grow themselves a money tree which brings in real cash every month.  Chances are the economy is going to get worse. Chances are it's going to be harder for you to keep your job. Chances are your super, shares and property may have further to fall in the coming years. Chances are you won’t be able to rely on the government pension to save you. You need to look after number one right now and take full responsibility for your financial situation and your money. You need to make more cash. The timing is critical and you need to act fast.

“Don’t make it in a job though. This is the worst possible business model for making cash because you are just swapping your time for money and there is no leverage at all.  Each month you have to turn up at the office again and again to get paid. You don’t get rewarded ongoing for your previous work.  Make it by building a money tree. Once you grow the tree it will produce money each month for you. All you need to do is nurture it, prune it occasionally, give it some water and make sure it’s in the sun.  Your work then is to simply collect the money from the tree each month. That’s all you need to do.  It is all about creating a better lifestyle for yourself and that means freeing up your time to do what you love to do.”

Ruby started her own entrepreneurial journey when she purchased her first investment property in Bendigo, country Victoria, when she was only 19 and had acquired 5 properties before her 21^st birthday.  She continued to build a large portfolio of properties.  She soon discovered the need to not only build your asset base but to also create regular cash flow to support your lifestyle.  Ruby has grown her own money trees which provide regular, ongoing cash each and every month from entrepreneurial ventures.

Instead of working for money Ruby has found a way to get her money working for her and she has created a level of cash flow where she never needs to worry about working in a job again.

Ruby has been teaching her parents and her parents’ friends who are boomers, how to follow in her footsteps for a number of years.

It’s up to the Gen Ys and Gen Xers to teach our parents this ‘new school’ perspective and an entire new way of thinking about cash creation and living.”

Ruby has created a simple, step-by-step framework which takes all the things that you need to know, do and be, and integrates them into your mind, actions and being.
